LCCP closes Classic ReRuns
TO THE EDITOR
For the past several years it has been the goal and mission of Lincoln County Community Partnership, Inc. to provide services in an array of areas. During the process, we opened the Classic ReRuns to offer nice, clean, second hand clothing at a much reduced rate. Unfortunately, with the cost of expenses of operation versus the sales, it is with misfortune that we must close our store.
These dollars were used to assist individuals and families during a crisis situation with utilities, pharmacy, rent and other emergencies. Likewise, we offer a scholarship for a graduating senior. While we will no longer have our store, we have other means of providing these services and the resources continue to be available.
This was not a spur of the moment decision for the board of directors. Many months of discussions have gone into this decision. Lincoln County Community Partnership, Inc. has its own governing body which does not fall under the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners.
We would like to thank all the citizens who may have donated in the past toward this endeavor. We, as the Lincoln County Community Partnership, Inc., continue to make it our goal to provide resources for the citizens of Lincoln County.
NANCY BLOUNT, DIRECTOR LCCP
