Dept. of public safety to offer EMT-1 class
The Lincoln County Department of Public Safety in partnership with Battalion Chief Jim Moore is hosting an EMT-I class to be taught in Lincoln County.
This class will teach the EMT-I curriculum and upon completion of the class, students will be eligible to become certified as an EMT-I in Ga. (after successful testing and licensing).
The class will tentatively begin April 16, 2009 and run through the middle of October 2009. It will be taught 2 nights per week and one Saturday a month (total of 40hrs per month).
Classes will be held at the Lincoln County EMS office in the upstairs training room. We need to have at least 15 students so cost can be down. Cost per student will be $450.00 (includes book) based on a class size of at least 15. All those who are interested in taking this class should contact Chief Jim Moore at 706-359-4855 or 706-401-9196 for more information and application.
