Mrs. Dee Thompson, well known Lincoln County Horsewoman, shared her knowledge of English riding with the Lincoln County LCES Pre-K classes. Classes were preparing for their trip to the Augusta Futurity and Mrs. Thompson (in the picture) is comparing the English and Western saddles. Banks Boswell, student in Mrs. Jennie McWhorter's class, is sitting on the English saddle and wearing the safety helmet English riders wear. Mrs. Thompson demonstrated the shoes a horse wears as well as differences in clothing between English and Western riders.
