The students of the MACK Art Exhibit will be held Friday, January 9. The reception is from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Everyone is invited to attend these receptions. We sincerely hope you will come meet all of the students who have taken classes at the MACK and view their work. These receptions are always fun so mark your calendars to join us!

Bill Updegraff's art class begins Wednesday, January 14 from 9:00 - 12:00 a.m. His class consists of eightsessions to be held each Wednesday through March 4. All levels of students are welcome in his classes. Mr. Updegraff will work with acrylic painters but the emphasis will be on watercolor techniques. The charge for this eight-session class will be $135. Please call the MACK at 864- 852-3216 to sign up.

Helen Hutson is offering a Basic Drawing Class beginning Friday, January 16 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. This is an eight-session class held each Friday through March 6. Students will work with charcoal, graphite and perhaps pen and ink. All materials will be provided. The cost of the eight-session class will be $135. Call the Mack at 864-391-5036 to sign up.

The "Taste of the MACK" will be January 16. This will be a six course meal with all recipes coming from the "A Taste of the Arts in McCormick County" cookbook and its supplement. There will be two seatings for this dinner, one at 5:30 p.m. and another at 7:00 p.m. The price for this feast is only $8 per person. These dinners are usually well attended so make your reservations ASAP. Call the MACK at 864-852- 3216 to make reservations for the "Taste of the MACK".

The Read and Feed is Thursday, January 29 at 6:00 p.m. The book to be discussed is My Sister's Keeper by Jodi Picoult. Please call the MACK at 864-852-3216 to make reserva- tions. The hosts for this read and feed will be Shaaron Kohl and Bet Dombrowski.
