Plantation Point Subdivision held its Tenth Annual New Year's Day Water-Ski party. Neighbors, friends and family members gathered at the community beach to watch those who chose to water-ski or wakeboard.

Kitty Ball (left) and Roger Boyle were home from college for winter break and are pictured skiing. They both are 2008 honor graduates of Lincoln County High School.

The air temperature at the time was 55 degrees and the water temperature was reported to be "very nippy." A special thank you is given to Karen and Eric Miller for organizing the event for the past ten years.
