MIKAYLA WOODARD Rayle EMC has named Mikayla Woodard as December's Student of the Month.

She is a fourth grade student and her teacher, Mrs. Jill Clark, describes Mikayla as "a very wellrounded student who thrives in her academics and her general daily disposition. Mikayla looks for the positive in every situation and continues to share intelligent, well thought out responses to class discussions." Congratulations Mikayla!

Rayle EMC is sponsoring Lincoln County Elementary School's Student of the Month program.

Each month, a grade level will be selected and the teachers will nominate one of their homeroom students whom demonstrates the following strengths: respect of self and others, a positive leader by example, shows acts of kindness, overcomes physical or mental challenges, displays good conduct and responsibility, assists others in need, and puts forth genuine academic effort.

One student from the grade level will then be selected by Rayle EMC as the Student of the Month. The student will receive a t-shirt and certificate of recognition in order to motivate all students so that they may strive for excellence.
