Sporting the retro look!

Over 3,000 people attended "Pioneer Day" held Saturday, November 22, at the Lincoln County Historical Park. Pictured are "Revolutionary War doctor" Gerald Smith and Peyton Wagner of Evans. The event, which is sponsored annually by the Lincoln County Historical Society, was dedicated to the memory of James B. "Buddy" Marlow, Sr. According to a spokesman for the society, 1,459 apple fritters were served throughout the day.
