.. Mildred and George Bailey and William and Lee Bentley visited Irene Bailey Friday afternoon.

.. William and Lee Bentley visited Thomas and Jane Young in McCormick and Truett and Dolly Smalley Friday afternoon.

.. After three second place finishes, Marion Cliatt finally won a pool tournament.

.. Marion and Hilda Cliatt will be attending a school in the North Georgia mountains in a few weeks.

.. William and Lee Bentley helped with some real good pear cobbler at the home of Marion and Hilda Cliatt.

.. Alan Fizer visited with Mr. and Mrs. Art Fizer over the weekend.

.. Mary Pope visited Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Fizer Thursday afternoon.

.. Erica Newton spent the day Saturday with Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Fizer.

.. James and Barbara Abel of West Palm Beach, Fla. spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Abel. Pam and Jay Watson visited in the home Sunday afternoon.

.. Mr. and Mrs. Kerry Whitner visited their son, David, in West Virginia during the past week. They also visited in Cherokee, N.C. and Helen, Ga. on their return home.

.. Mandy Dornberg, Carla Young, Mr. and Mrs. Kerry Whitner, Charles Dornberg and William and Lee Bentley have been visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Truett Smalley.

.. Alicia and Patrick Bryant visited their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dudley Bryant, during the week.

.. Alicia Bryant and Bob Holley visited Mr. and Mrs. Dudley Bryant Saturday afternoon.

.. Mr. and Mrs. Dudley Bryant were dinner guests at Anthony's Chapel on Sunday.

.. Mr. and Mrs. Dudley Bryant visited Mr. and Mrs. Billy Mims and Mr. and Mrs. Tee Turner during the week.

.. Marsha Mooney had surgery on Thursday. We need to keep her in our prayers.

.. William Bentley visited several families in the community Sunday afternoon.

.. Members of Salem Baptist Church Choir visited in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Russell Reese on Thursday afternoon for a sing-along with their choir director, Mr. Lonnie Martin. Participants included: Pat Leech, Audrey Crump, Nancy Bailey, Trudelle Bentley, William Bentley, Herman Jones, Ruby Pope, Lois Fizer, Shirley Saturday, Hilda Cliatt, the host and hostess, Mr. and Mrs. Russell Reese and Lonnie Martin. After a time of fellowship and singing, the visit ended with the group forming a circle by joining hands while Herman Jones offered prayer.
