Eva J. Turman

Mrs. Eva J. Turman of Lovelace Road, Lincolnton, entered into rest Tuesday, August 12, 2008 at Lake Crossing Health Center.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Friday, August 15 at Harmony Baptist Church with Rev. Freddie Neal, Sr. officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Turman was a native of Lincoln County and a member of Harmony Baptist Church.

Survivors include her sons, Mor- ris (Lillian) Turman and John G. (Mary Lou) Turman of Augusta, Ga.; daughters-in-law, Margaret Turman and Carrie Turman of Augusta; devoted niece and nephew, Mary L. Jones and Kenneth Trammell of Lincolnton; one sister, Alma Reddick of Philadelphia, Pa.; one brother, Albea Leverett of Crawfordville, Ga.; a host of in-laws; grandchildren; greatgrandchildren; nieces; nephews; and other relatives.

Norris W. Gunby, Sr. Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
