.. Dr. and Mrs. Al Wright honored Anne's parents with supper at Soap Creek on Thursday night for their 56th wedding anniversary.

.. Lindy Chalker visited in the William Bentley home Friday morning.

.. Mr. and Mrs. Franklin Bowick visited Mr. and Mrs. William Bentley Friday afternoon and were supper guests in the home.

.. Beth Talbert, Mr. and Mrs. Mike Bell and children, Danny Edwards, Cathy Chastain and girls, William and Lee Bentley have been visitors of Irene Bailey.

.. Irene Bailey had dinner on Sunday June 22nd with the Michael Ferguson family and attended the reception Sunday afternoon for Rev. and Mrs. David Jenkins at the fellowship hall at St. Paul Church.

.. Erica Newton was honored on Sunday, June 29th for her 21st birthday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Fizer. Guests for the occasion were Carl Brown, Alan Fizer, Bobby Ansley, Mr. and Mrs. Don Stephens, and Sue Moore. They were served a delicious lunch with birthday cake and homemade ice cream for dessert.

.. Carla Quarles visited her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Truett Smalley Sunday afternoon, June 29th.

.. Hilda and Marion Cliatt were Monday afternoon June 30th visitors of Lee and William Bentley.

.. Fourth of July guests in the home of Mr. and Mrs. William Bentley were Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Timmerman, Miss Erin Timmerman, Mr. and Mrs. Chuck Mahaffey, Ethan Mahaffey, Mr. and Mrs. Franklin Bowick, Irene Bailey, Jonathan Wright, Crystal Merideth, and Jaylynn Holland.

.. William and Lee Bentley visited Tommy and Jane Young in McCormick Saturday afternoon. Tommy is improving. He still has to go for therapy and he still needs our prayers.
