Sam Edward Mobley

Mr. Sam Edward Mobley of 3606 Chamberlain Ferry Rd. entered into rest on Tuesday, June 17, 2008 at his residence.

Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 19, at Jones Chapel with Rev. Wade Palmer officiating.

Mr. Mobley was a lifelong resident of Lincoln County and the son of the late Paul Mobley and Ruth Jones Mobley. He was employed with Reed Ice, Inc. as a mechanic.

Survivors include a sister, Katherine Louise Moon of Lincolnton; a brother, Bill Mobley and wife, Eula Mae of Washington, Ga.; several nephews.

Pallbearers were Danny Aycock, Ernie Moon, Eugene Moon, Joey Moon, Justin Moon and Cornell Palmer.
