Mrs. Nancy Smith Denison, 68 of Swainsboro died Friday, June 20, 2008 at her residence.
Funeral services were held at 4 p.m., Sunday, June 22 at Lincolnton Baptist Church with Rev. Paul C. Reviere officiating.Interment followed in the Lincolnton City Cemetery.
Mrs. Denison, was born in Lincoln County on February 14, 1940 and was the daughter of the late Reuben and Louise Bussey Smith.
The Denison's made their home in Swainsboro in 1981 and she retired as a USDA food inspector after 24 years of service. Mrs. Denison enjoyed cooking, genealogy and spending time with her grandchildren.
Her siblings, Reuben Smith, John Bussey Smith, and Bobbie Hanberry preceded her in death.
Survivors include: her husband, Vincent A. Denison; two daughters, Nikki D. Wagner, and husband Joe of Watertwon, Wisconsin and Kaye D. Rowland, and husband Jeff of Monroe, North Carolina; one son, James Allen Denison, and friend Terra Woods of Savannah; three sisters, Martha S. Boyd of North Augusta, Jessie S. Britt of Hartwell, and Lou Mary "Blukey" McIntosh of Lincolnton; and grandchildren, Brandy Rowland, Brett Rowland, Taylor Wagner, Patrick Wagner, Morgan Wagner, Michael Wagner, and Faith Glover.
Her nephews served as pallbearers.
