Joann Arrington

Mrs. JoAnn "Big Mama" Arrington, 72, of Lincolnton, entered into rest Saturday, June 14, 2008 at her residence. She was the wife of Mr. David "Big Daddy" Arrington.

Graveside services were held on Tuesday, June 17, 2008 at Bellevue Memorial Gardens with Rev. Bobby Coleman officiating.

Mrs. Arrington was a native of Augusta and the daughter of the late John and Evelyn Lamb. She had resided in Lincolnton for the past 25 years and retired from King Mill.

Family members in addition to her husband include her children: John "Butch" (Lisa) Arrington of Lincolnton, Deborah (Allen) Carver, Ellen White, Mike (Angie) Arrington all of Martinez, and Ricky (Kathy) Arrington of Batesburg, SC.; sister: Elizabeth "Guga" Cadle of Vidalia; 18 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
