Garrard earns PhD. from Mercer Univ.

Congratulations to Alexander Richard Garrard upon receiving his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Mercer University College of Pharmacy on Sat., May 3 at the Atlanta campus of Mercer University.

Alexander is the son of Benjamin Richard (Dickie) Garrard of Homestead, Fl; twin brother to Stephanie Garrard of Decatur; the grandson of George Ebon Garrard and nephew of Ann G. Mansur, both of Washington.

Following his graduate work in Atlanta with doctors at Northside Hospital, Kennesaw Hospital and the Grady Hospital Poison Control Center, Alexander has accepted a position as pharmacist with the prestigious Presbyterian Hospital in New York City, N.Y. where he will be working with a team of doctors focusing on the treatment and cure of infectious diseases.
