Sandra Jean Richard

Mrs. Sandra "Sandi" Jean Richard, 60, of 1034 Elberton Hwy. entered into rest at her residence after a courageous battle with cancer on Friday, April 11, 2008.

The funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Monday, April 14, 2008 at Lincolnton Baptist Church with Rev. Dan Rosser officiating. Interment followed in Lincolnton City Cemetery.

Sandi was born in Phoenix, Arizona and was the daughter of Bernice Bieser and the late Fred Bieser. She was co-owner of Marsan Graphics, a member of The Daughters of the American Revolution, American Quilting Society and Milledgeville Quilting Society. Aside from quilting; Sandi also loved fishing, gardening and caring for her in-laws, Marvin and Miriam Richard.

Survivors include her husband , Marvin D. "Marty" Richard III; three daughters, Kelly R Knock and husband, Lee of Winder, Ga., Melaina R. Goodman and husband, Brent of Madison, Ga. and Georgianna R. Wall and husband, David of Gray, Ga.; mother, Bernice A. Roy and husband, Maurice of St. Augustine, Fl.; four sisters, Carol B. Groover of Locus Grove, Ga., Lynn B. Blanton of Hamilton, Ga., Patricia B. Ramey and Dawn E. Bieser both of Live Oak, Ga.; three brothers, James H. Muse of Summerville, S.C., John M. Muse of Hanahan, S.C. and Jerry A. Muse of Ravenal, S.C.; seven grandchildren, Ashley Knock, Brandon Knock, Synora Goodman, Logan Wall, Morgan Goodman, Kierstin Wall and Devin Goodman; stepson, Mark Augustynowicz and wife, Maley of Pittsburg, Pa.

Serving as pallbearers were Jared Carson, Gary Duckworth, Brandon Knock, Billy Matthews, Bill Norman and Josh Richard.
