JOHN T. MARTIN

Mr. John T. "Johnny" Martin, 69 of Hephzibah Church Rd. died Sunday, April 13, 2008 at his residence.

Graveside services wiere held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, April 15, 2008 at Hephzibah Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Allen Danner officiating.

Mr. Martin was born June 3, 1938 in Wilkes County to the late John B. and Tinnie Keeter Martin. He was lifelong resident of Lincoln County and was a retired heavy equipment mechanic and operator. He was also retired from Martin Trucking.

Survivors include his wife, Peggy Hall Martin of the home; a daughter: Donna M. Bishop, and husband, Raymond of Blythewood, SC; two sons, Tommy Martin and wife, Winnie of Lincolnton and Mike Martin and Karen Rogers; four grandchildren: Emily Martin, Trent Martin, Keri and Price Rogers; aunts: Mrs. Frank Walton and Mrs. Gerald Drinkard

Pallbearers were: Allen Bunch, Bobby Callaway, Charles Chastain, Albert Crook, Donald Dunaway, Ra- leigh Long, Jr., Jerry Maloof, and Barney Zellars
