Pitts nominated for membership to honor society

In recognition of his outstanding scholastic record, Cedric A. Pitts has been nominated for membership in the International Honor Society Beta Gemma Sigma. This is the premier honor society for the best students in business programs accredited by AACSB International - The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business.

Membership in the society is the highest recognition a student in business can receive in an undergraduate or graduate program at a school accredited by AACSB International. To be eligible for membership, a student must rank in the upper 10 percent of the students body in the last semester of their junior year; upper 10 percent of the senior class; or upper 20 percent of the graduating MBA class.

In initiation ceremony will be held on Friday, March 28, 6:00 p.m. in the Augusta State University Jaguar Student Activities Center Ballroom.
