Carruth celebrates 100th birthday

Ruth Williams Carruth of Summit Mississippi celebrated her 100th birthday with a reception on Saturday, February 23, 2008 at her home. Mrs. Carruth, formerly of Smithdale, was married to the late John P. Carruth. She has shared her love of quilting, sewing and needlework with many friends and relatives.

Her great-grandchildren from Lincolnton that attended were: Kohli, Holden, Carly and Tripp Carruth, children of Peggy and Lee Carruth; and Jessica and Kaitlyn Tate, children of Sheryl and Ted Tate.
