Registration to be held at LCES for kindergartners

Registration for entering kindergartners will be held at Lincoln County Elementary School Wed., March 12 and Thurs., March 13. Please bring your rising kindergartner (must be 5 years old on or before September 1, 2008) according to the recommended schedule listed. The registration will include a brief screening assessment (approximately 45 minutes completion time).

Recommended schedule: Wed., March 12, 8:30-11:30 a.m. - last names beginning with A through E; 12:30-3:00 p.m. - last names beginning with F through K.

Thurs., March 13, :30-11:30 a.m. - last names beginning with L through R; 12:30-3:00 p.m. - last names beginning with S through Z.

The child's birth, health and immunization certificate (if available at this time), social security card, and proof of residence will be requested on this day.

Four-year-old students who already attend the school system's four-year-old pre-school do not have to register. They will need to follow up on the three certificate requirements by August 2008.
