Blaze destroys Clark home

The home of Ametha Clark on Metasville Road was destroyed by fire on Sunday, March 9, at approximately 10:15 p.m. The structure was fully involved in flames when firefighters arrived on the scene. The cause of the fire, which probably started in the attic, is unknown. Moreover, no one was injured in the blaze. Responding to the call were the Loco Volunteer Fire Department, the Metasville VFD from Wilkes County, and the Lincoln County Department of Public Safety.
