Benjamin Franklin Jones, Sr.

Mr. Benjamin Franklin "B.F." Jones, Sr., of Augusta Highway, entered into rest Thursday, February 28, 2008 at Doctors Hospital of Augusta, Ga.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, March 5 at Mulberry Christian Methodist Episcopal Church with Rev. Larry Fryer officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery.

Mr. Jones was a native of Lincoln County and was retired from Murray Biscuit Company.

Survivors include his wife, Bessie Murray Jones; one son, Benjamin Franklin Jones, Jr. (Kathy) of Col- lege Park, Ga.; seven daughters, Gladys Harrison of Hephzibah, Ga., Eloise Jones of Santa Monica, Calif., Gloria J. Khan (Kalia) of Syosset, N.Y., Martha J. Smith of Sparta, Ga., Patricia Ann Jones of Lincolnton, Noble Dean Hawes of Hephzibah, and April Bussey of Lincolnton; one sister, Lille Bell Beard of Augusta; a sister in-law, Eula Mae Jones of Lincolnton; fourteen grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.

Norris W. Gunby Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
