Students participate in Ga. History Day

Lincoln County Middle School students participated in their very first Georgia History Day on the campus of Augusta State University on February 16. Zach Bentley took first place in the media category with his documentary on Rosa Parks. Annah Crook, Amanda Sims and Amber Gaines took 2nd place with their website about Conflict and Compromise in Lincoln County. Mrs. Nancy Pund, sponsor of the Social Science Society, organized the student's entries which were strictly voluntary.
