Griffin and McKinney to exchange vows March 15

LINDSEY GRIFFIN AND MATTHEW McKINNEY

Mrs. Dawn Griffin of Monroe, Georgia announces the engagement of her daughter, Lindsey Griffin, to Matthew McKinney, son of Steve and Stephanie McKinney of Lincolnton. Miss Griffin is also the daughter of the late Mr. Ken Griffin.

Miss Griffin is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Braswell and the late Mrs. Hazel Braswell of Monroe and the late Rev. and Mrs. Wiley Griffin of Nicholson, Georgia.

She is a graduate of Oconee County High School and a graduate of the University of Georgia with a degree in Risk Management and Insurance. She is employed as a marketing field representative with Rain and Hail, LLC in Grayson, Georgia.

Mr. McKinney is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Buckner of Good Hope, Georgia and the late Mr. and Mrs. William McKinney of Walnut Grove, Georgia.

He is a graduate of Monroe Area Comprehensive High School and a graduate of Georgia College and State University in Milledgeville, Georgia with a degree in Marketing. He is employed as a financial advisor with Edward Jones in Watkinsville.

The wedding is planned for Saturday, March 15, 2008 at the Classic Center in Athens.
