Registration for Little League is now underway

Registration to play Lincoln County Little League baseball is currently underway at four convenient locations: Farmers & Merchants Bank, Goldman & Wengrow's, Cliatt Crossing, and the Lincoln County Recreation Department.

The deadline to register is Friday, February 29, with tryouts set for Saturday, March 8. The cost is $40 per child. Late registration is not allowed.

Depending on participation, the Little League Association is planning to offer the following leagues:

.. T-Ball - ages 5 and 6. .. Coach Pitch - ages 7 and 8.

.. Minor League - ages 9 and 10.

.. Major League - ages 11 and 12.

.. Junior League - ages 13 and 14.

.. Girls Softball.

Although games are scheduled to start Saturday, March 29, official opening day ceremonies will not be held until Saturday, April 5, with all teams taking the field. Pictures will also be made at this time.
