LCHS to host financial aid workshop Feb. 25

LCHS will host a Financial Aid Workshop Monday, February 25, beginning at 6 p.m. in the school cafeteria.

During the workshop, Josh Dasher, regional director of the Georgia Student Finance Commission, will ease the minds of anxious LCHS seniors and their parents, who have been wondering how they are going to pay for college. His presentation will feature:

.. An in-depth look at the financial aid application process.

.. Information about FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).

.. An explanation of the differences between scholarships, grants, and loans.

Moreover, there will be a drawing for a $250 scholarship to be awarded to an LCHS senior present at the workshop.

The seminar is free, and reservations are not necessary.
