Musical groups are recipients of DOVE nominations

It's raining DOVES in Lincoln County!

Three local groups have been nominated for DOVE awards by the Gospel Music Association (GMA).

They are as follows:

.. Jeff and Sheri Easter:

(1) "Southern Gospel Recorded Song of the Year" - "Over and Over" from the Life is Great and Gettin's Better album. This marks the first album recorded on the Easters' own label, "SheLoved Music."

(2) "Country Album of the Year" - Life is Great and Gettin' Better.

.. The Lewis Family: "Bluegrass Recorded Song of the Year" - "The Key to Heaven" from the Flying' High album.

.. Little Roy Lewis, Earl Scruggs, and Lizzie Long:

(1) "Bluegrass Recorded Song of the Year" - "I Will Find You Again" from the Lifetimes album.

(2) "Country Recorded Song of the Year" - "James White" from the Lifetimes album.

(3) "Bluegrass Album of the Year" - Lifetimes.

The DOVE awards are scheduled to be presented in April in Nashville.
