Leverett earns degree from Albany State Univ.

VANESSA NICOLE LEVERETT

Vanessa Nicole Leverett has earned a B.A from Albany State University's Department of English, Modern Languages, and Mass Communications. Convocation ceremonies were held December 8, 2007 at the James H. Gray Civic Center in Albany, Georgia.

She holds an undergraduate degree in English from Albany State University with a minor in Professional Writing and is a native of Lincolnton, Georgia. Ms. Leverett has completed academic coursework specializing in proposal and grant writing and has conducted classroom workshops pertinent to the Professional Writing and English curriculum.

She is an educator with the Dougherty County School System where she teaches Tenth Grade English at the Dougherty Comprehensive High School located in Albany, Georgia. Ms. Leverett is now currently attending Troy State University pursuing a Master of Science degree in Post-Secondary Education with a concentration in the Foundations of Education.

She resides in Albany, Georgia. Vanessa is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Willie Leverett of Lincolnton, Georgia.
