Betty Jo Adams

Ms. Betty Jo Adams, 73, of South Washington Street, entered into rest on Wednesday, January 2, 2008 at Heartland Hospice in Augusta.

Graveside service were held at 3 p.m. on Friday, January 4, 2008 at St. Paul United Methodist Church cemetery with Rev. Paul C. Reviere officiating.

Ms. Adams was the daughter of the late Lewis and Alberta Crozier Goldman. She was a lifelong resident of Lincoln County and retired textile employee with Riegel Manufacturing.

Survivors include a son, Len Quarles of Lincolnton; two daugh- ters, Linda Smith of Lincolnton and Lucy Polk of Columbia, S.C.; three sisters, Ellen Jones and Sarah Quarles both of Lincolnton and Bernice Dill of Watkinsville, Ga.; eight grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.

Serving as pallbearers were Mac Peeler, Randy Hadden, Les Banks, Todd Wells, Gene Wells and Kelly Wells.
