Happy New Year! It's 2008!

I can't begin to explain how excited I am to be a part of an amazing community! Lincoln County is like NO OTHER county! I am so excited to be the 2008 President for the Lincolnton/ Lincoln County Chamber of Commerce.

The Chamber of Commerce is a private, membership organization. The Chamber unites business and professional leaders to create a central organization, which lends itself to improving business while building a stronger, better community. Most of all, the Chamber is PEOPLE. Without the efforts of dedicated people, the chamber of commerce could not exist. There is a place in the chamber for all who share the desire to improve the community and the condition in which business is conducted. The chamber directs the energy of those who believe a community worth living in is a community worth improving.

In preparation for my presidency role, I have been an active Board member since 2005, I have served as chair on many chamber projects. I am also president of the Lincolnton/ Lincoln County Ladies Auxiliary, and a member of Beta Sigma Phi.
