Justice reports on arrests and incidents for police department An activity report for the Lincolnton Police Department was issued recently by Chief Jim Justice. According to the chief, the following arrests were made in the city: .. Andrew Brown, 31, of Lincolnton, charged with simple battery. .. Daniel Biles, 21, of Lincolnton, charged with shoplifting (misdemeanor). .. Michael Lockhart, 38, of Lincolnton, charged with simple battery. In other items of information, Chief Justice noted that the incidents listed below occurred in the city: .. Meachell Creithton reported that an unknown person(s) threw a "dirt ball" at her 2008 Chevrolet Impala, which chipped the rear passenger glass and scratched the top of the vehicle. The complainant was traveling on Metasville Road when the incident took place. .. Julie Shannon, an employee of Papa's Pizza To-Go, reported that an unknown person(s) damaged a front window of the restaurant with an undetermined object. Two white males were observed running from the area around the time of the incident. .. Darryl Bentley reported that an unknown person(s) threw a rock, striking a storm window at the rear of his residence. The damages were estimated at $50. .. Janice Horn reported that an unknown person(s) broke into her 2004 Dodge Ram pickup while it was parked outside Cullars Inn. A bag of candy and a billy club were removed from the vehicle. .. Erin Cameron reported that an unknown person(s) broke one of the windows out of her Toyota Corolla and gained entry to the vehicle while it was parked at the Milky Way Freeze Bar. The subject(s) removed credit and debit cards and an empty checkbook from the car. .. Jessica Martin, an employee of Dixie Quick #1, reported that a black male, wearing a dark shirt and shorts, in a white Mitsubishi Montero Sport, with chrome rims, drove away from the store without paying for $3 worth of gas. |
