Anna Joy Garrard, age 4, is shown here passing out a Bible verse to Jandi Matthews at Farmers & Merchants Bank. Anna makes frequent shopping trips to Lincolnton with her grandmother and likes to stop and talk with the different Lincolnton merchants. She has special friends like Eddy and Lilly Turner at Crawford & Breazeale, Greg Zellars at the Post Office, and Shirley Dawkins and her son, Daniel at the library. She also likes to give out verses to the fine friends at Bell's Food Market, The Lincoln Journal, Maxway and Dollar General.

Anna is the granddaughter of Lamar and Ruth Garrard of Lincolnton and the daughter of Brent and Karla Garrard of Martinez, Ga.
