LWREA visits new school site

LWREA visits new school site The Lincoln-Wilkes Retired Educators (LWREA) held its November meeting at the office of the Lincoln County Board of Education. Dr. Randall Edmunds, Superintendent of Schools, and Mr. Brian Campbell, Assistant Superintendent of Instruction, did outstanding presentations on features of Lincoln County's new school, system-wide data, and current trends in technology.
Also present to share valuable information were: Mr. Ficklen Guinn - Assistant Superintendent for Support Services; Mrs. Becky Barden - Principal, Lincoln County High School; Mr. Willie J. Harris - Assistant Princi- pal, Lincoln County Middle School; Ms. Marilyn Bell - Principal, Lincoln County Elementary School.
Following the meeting, LWREA observed the site for the new school and visited the Lincoln County Elementary School. The atmosphere at the new school was very conducive to learning, and the delicious lunch was enjoyed by all.
Retired Educators Day was recognized in the state of Georgia on November 2, 2008. LWREA would like to thank everyone who had a part in making its November meeting a special day of recognition.
