The General Runoff Election between Saxby Chambliss and Jim Martin for the office of United States senator will be held Tuesday, December 2.

Voters are reminded that advance voting continues through Wednesday, November 26, at the Lincoln County Board of Elections and Registration Office in The Lincoln Center on May Avenue. This also marks the last day to request an application for an absentee ballot.

Office hours are from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.

All absentee ballots should be returned to the elections and registration office by the time polls close on Election Day. An absentee ballot may be hand-delivered by a second party only if the voter is disabled.
