The book to be read for the November Read and Feed at the MACK is The No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency by Alexander McCall Smith. Jean and Walter Wist will host the November Read and Feed which will take place on Thursday, November 20 at 6:00 p.m. This is a novel about a woman in Botswana who uses her inheritance to start a women's detective agency. She is not sure she will be a success but she is intelligent, has excellent intuition, perseverance and a keen knowledge of the human mind and heart. The artist reception for local photographic artist Casey Szocinski will be held Friday, December 5, 2008 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Casey is a selftaught photographer. His earlier subject matter began with landscapes and flowers. His later work focused on old vehicles. Plan to come see what he is has on exhibit in December. Everyone is invited to attend the artist receptions.

Holiday on Main will take place on Saturday, December 13 beginning at 10:00 a.m. What a wonderful way to get into the Holiday spirit!
