The election is now history and for that I am grateful, as I'm sure are many of you. Whether or not your candidate won, may I suggest that we put aside all our petty quarrels, pointless accusations, and general ill will and be about the business of healing our community? More ... TO THE EDITOR I would like to offer a few thoughts on our election results with an eye to the future of Lincoln County. I am not talking about candidates. I am talking about changes to the way our governments do business and as a business does, so our governments need to do more so. More ... TO THE EDITOR I want to take this opportunity to thank each citizen of our great county who saw fit to offer their time and efforts to all of us by offering for public service. We, as a group, have chosen those we felt are better suited to lead us in the next four years. They have sacrificed their time and pledged their allegiance for the betterment of the county.
