.. William and Lee Bentley and Jane Young spent Monday in Greenwood at Self Memorial Hospital with their sister, Brenda Bowick. She had surgery, is doing all right, is home but still needs our prayers.

.. Mrs. Irene Bailey spent Saturday night and Sunday with William and Lee Bentley. They attended the Fall Festival Saturday night, church services on Sunday and ordination service for Marion Cliatt Sunday afternoon.

.. Alicia Bryant and Patrick Bryant visited their parents, Dudley and Susan Bryant, during the week.

.. Dudley and Susan Bryant visited Irene Bryant one day the past week.

.. Alan Fizer spent the weekend at home with Art and Lois Fizer. Erica Newton visited on Saturday and was a lunch guest in the home.

.. Marion and Hilda Cliatt rode around Sumter National Forest looking at fall colors, a beautiful sight. They went to Belmont Inn to eat, it was closed so they found a little roadside cafe that served soup and sandwiches and ice cream. They enjoyed the time together.

.. Donna and Kenneth Abel visited family in Tiffin, Ohio from Wednesday of last week until Tuesday.

.. Chris, Tammy and Keegan Abel visited in the home of Donna and Kenneth Abel Saturday night.

.. Sara Leib, Kenneth Smalley, Ken Smalley, Jayden and Dillon, Cathy Smalley, Mandy Dornberg, Brad Rogers, Jan, Kerry Whitner, Mitch Young, C.J. Dornberg, and William and Lee Bentley have been visitors of Truett and Dolly Smalley.

.. Michael, Robin, Madison, Kate, Anna, Ellie, and Ava Layton visited in the William Bentley home Friday afternoon.

.. William and Lee Bentley visited Tommy and Jane Young in McCormick Friday afternoon. Jane, William and Lee then visited Franklin and Brenda Bowick in Troy. Brenda is recuperating from her surgery, but still needs our prayers.

.. The Fall Festival at Salem Baptist Church was a real successful time for all those attending. We had around 60 and reports were that all had a very good time and plenty to eat.

.. Marion Cliatt and William Bentley attended the football game Friday night and Hilda Cliatt and Lee Bentley enjoyed the time spent together. We has sausage biscuits and dessert after the game.
