William Boyce Paradise Sr.
Mr. William Boyce Paradise, Sr., 75, of Washington Hwy. entered into rest on Wednesday, October 29, 2008 at his residence.
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. on Friday, October 31, at Loco Baptist Church with Revs. Kenneth Jones and Terrell Jones officiating. Interment followed at Hephzibah Baptist Church cemetery.
Mr. Paradise, son of the late Jack and Clarice Childs Paradise, was born on January 22, 1933. A lifelong resident of Lincoln County, he was retired from the State of Georgia Department of Transportation. He was a member of Loco Baptist Church where he had served as a Deacon and Sunday School Superintendent.
Survivors include his wife, Jean Colvin Paradise; two daughters, Mary Goldman and husband, Racy of Lincolnton and Linda Johnson and husband, James of Washington, Ga.; two sons, Billy Paradise and wife, Faye and Tommy Paradise and wife, Tomi, all of Lincolnton; nine grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; eleven greatgrandchildren; and one step-greatgrandchild.
