County officially designated Community of Opportunity

McWhorter, Broom crowned Homecoming Queen, Princess

Supreme Court will not review sheriff's case

The Georgia Supreme Court denied a Writ of Certiorari in the case involving a petition for declaratory judgment relief, filed against Sheriff Gerald Lawson by the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners on February 16, 2007. Residents invited to visit Eerie Guts House Sat.

The "Third Annual Haunted Halloween Spooktacular" will be held Saturday, November 1, beginning at 7 p.m. at the "Eerie Guts House" also known as the home of Ernie and Renee Guthrie at 125 Goshen Street.
