      Mrs. Sybil Smith Tankersley, 85, wife of the late Melvin Tankersley of Tankersley Road, entered into rest on Wednesday, October 22, 2008 at Doctor's Hospital in Augusta. Funeral service were held at 11 a.m. on Friday, October 24, at Double Branches Baptist Church with Revs. Keith Etheridge and Ficklen Guin officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery.
