Coach Dip Metress and some of the team members of the Augusta State University men's basketball team visited during First Assembly?s youth service on Wednesday, October 8th. The team members interacted with the youth and children by showing them some basic basketball moves. Coach Metress also played games with the youth, and prizes were awarded to the winners. One ASU player shared the reference to his favorite Bible verse (Philippians 4:13), and a prize was given to Faith Campbell, who was the first teenager to raise her hand and quote the verse.

Following the games and prizes, members of First Assembly youth group scrimmaged with the ASU players. Pastor Chip Woodall and First Assembly would like to thank the ASU coach and team for providing this community outreach to our youth.
