First deer of season

James H. Collins II, age 15, harvested his first deer on opening day of gun season, Oct. 18th, with a 12 gauge shot gun. He was hunting on his family property in the Martins Crossroads Community. This buck must have been in a fight previously and lost one of it's antlers, and so it's assumed it would have been an eight pointer. James H.
