KATHERINE L. JARRETT AND JAMES ROLAND QUARLES Mr. and Mrs. Robert Jarrett of Hull announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Katherine Leanne to James Roland Quarles, son of Mr. Thomas Quarles of Lincolnton and Ms. Julia Quarles also of Lincolnton.

Miss Jarrett is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Bramblett of Athens, Mrs. Sarah Jarrett of Colbert and the late Mr. Frank Jarrett. She is a 2005 graduate of Athens Christian School and is now attending Athens Technical College for Medical Assisting.

Mr. Quarles is the grandson of Mrs. Cecile Quarles of Lincolnton and the late Mr. James E. Quarles, Ms. Jackie Emery of Largo, Florida and the late George R. Emery. He is a 2002 gradu- ate of Lincoln County High School and attended Augusta Technical College where he earned a diploma in Horticulture and a degree in Business.

The wedding is planned for 4 p.m., November 8, 2008 at Tucker Plantation in Colbert. Invitations will be sent.
