.. Mr. and Mrs. William Bentley spent Thursday night in North Augusta with Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Timmerman and Erin. They were supper guests together and then attended Ethan Mahaffey's football game at Lakeside.
.. Mr. and Mrs. Franklin Bowick and Mr. and Mrs. William Bentley attended the Troy School Reunion on Saturday. William and Lee were then supper guests of Franklin, Brenda and James Bowick and Lisa Paysinger.
.. Margaret NeSmith was a supper guest of Nancy Bailey last week.
.. Marion Cliatt will be speaking at the 6 p.m. service at Loco Baptist Church on October 19. Come and support him and the church. You can have fun at church and with the Bible.
.. Mrs. Jackie Bonner visited William and Lee Bentley Sunday afternoon.
.. Marion and Hilda Cliatt helped Alan, Art and Lois Fizer make apple cider. Alan has a real nice cider press. Alan can also make a very good deer stew. Of course, Art had to show off his cooking skills with some homemade pies. Everyone enjoyed the apples, even the deer and yellow jackets.
.. Marion Cliatt says he wants to be remembered as a good Christian man instead of the man who plays pools, so he will not report anymore pool reports. Anyone who wants to play is still welcome at his home.
.. Kenneth and Ken Smalley, Nathan Taylor, Rex Allen, Jason Bentley, Mr. and Mrs. Kerry Whitner, A.J. and Mitch Young, Mandy Dornberg, Brad Rogers, Susan Bryant, Sarah Leib, Hilda Cliatt and William and Lee Bentley have been visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Truett Smalley.
