State Troopers from the Washington Post of the Georgia State Patrol investigated one traffic crash during the month of September in Lincoln County. Sergeant First Class Andrews said the traffic crash resulted in five injuries.

SFC Andrews said troopers from Post 17 also issued 35 traffic citations in the county during the month. The total includes one arrest for driving under the influence, two citations for speeding, 18 seat belt violations, and four child restraint violations. Troopers also issued 42 warnings.
