Learning proper hand washing
The correct way to wash our hands was shared with the Lincoln County Georgia Pre-K Program students and parents recently by Mrs. Martha Partridge, UGA Cooperative Extension Service Coordinator. By using the 'black light' on the students' hands along with handgunk , they could see how germs covered their hands. After their hands were washed and they reused the 'black light', the students could see how well (or not so well) they washed their hands. Thank you, Mrs. Partridge, for showing us how important washing our hands helps us have good health. Thanks to BAC (Bacteria, the puppet) for coming and helping Mrs. Partridge with this activity.
Pictured with Mrs. Partridge and BAC are Pre-K students in Mrs. Mildred Wright's and Mrs. Eva Clary's classroom. They are from right to left: Ashanti Clark, Tristan Pia, Brianna Coleman, and Caden Zellars.
