Alvin and Crystal Johnson of Metasville announce the birth of a son, Hayden James, on Thursday, September 4, at Trinity Hospital in Augusta. Hayden weighed seven pounds, fourteen ounces and was twenty-one inches long.

He has two sisters, Hayley, five, and Hannah, three.

Maternal grandparents are Robert and Cheryl Carlisle of Rayle. Maternal great-grandparents are Thelma Faver and the late Wyatte Faver of Rayle and Willie Lou Carlisle and the late Matthew Carlisle of Goshen, Ala.

Paternal grandparents are James and Linda Johnson of Metasville. Paternal great-grandparents are Boyce and Jean Paradise of Lincolnton and the late Hal and Ethel Davis Johnson of Metasville.

Mrs. Johnson is the former Crystal Carlisle of Rayle.
