Fiddles & Vittles in Warrenton

2008-10-02 / People

Please, join us October 4, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m., in downtown Warrenton, Ga. for our 2nd Annual Fiddles & Vittles, a food and music fest.

Hometown Warrenton, Inc. presents this first Saturday event as a kick-off to the fall season. TDC (Tim Price, Doug Johnson, Carrol Morris) will be pickin' and singin' on the courthouse steps. So, bring a lawn chair or blanket and your dancing shoes. The promenade will be left open for dancin'!

A variety of food vendors will be set up on the square selling all kinds of good foods and treats. So, bring your appetite and plan to stay for lunch. The Helping Hands Food Pantry will also be accepting food donations on the square. Please, bring canned and dry foods of the everyday type.

There will be a brand new Hamilton Beach blender raffled off to a winning participant. Donors to the food pantry receive one ticket per two items donated. The pantry serves the needy of Warren County. You do not have to be present to win the blender!

In case of rain, this outdoor event will be canceled, but donations to the pantry and the raffle will still be held at FUMC, 421 Main Street, Warrenton from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. For more information or interested food vendors: Call 706-465-9604 to reserve a spot for $10.00. Non-profits may set up for free. The deadline for reservations is Friday, October 3.
