Barbecue sauce being recalled

A barbecue sauce is being recalled for ingredients not listed on the label. Georgia Department of Agriculture Commissioner Tommy Irvin cautions consumers about a barbecue sauce that is being recalled because it contains allergens not listed on the label.

CaJohns Fiery Foods Company is recalling 103 individual bottles of HDH Grillin' Sauce because they may contain Worcestershire Sauce and soy sauce but doesn't list the individual ingredients in both the sauces.

The Worcestershire sauces may contain anchovies that may not be listed while the Soy Sauce may contain soybeans and wheat that can be allergens for some individuals. The product, in 16-ounce glass bottles, was sold between Jan. 01, 2007 and Sept. 15 of this year. The lot numbers are 249242, 249298, 249304, 249154, 249181, 249197 and are found on the product label located on the bottom of the bottle. The recalled sauce were distributed nationwide through retailers, mail order and web sites.
