Twenty eightFuture Business Leaders of America (FBLA) students accompanied Mrs. Dukes, FBLA Adviser and Alice Woods, chaperone to the 7th Annual Motivational FBLA Rally in Macon on September 25.

Over six thousand Georgia FBLA members were in attendance at the Macon Coliseum to gather information about the upcoming FBLA happenings, to promote the service projects and competitive events, to enter a t-shirt and invention contests, network, as well as get motivated by guest speaker, Rhett Laubach.

Mr. Laubach inspired the students to start now in addressing three emergencies in their lives: their future, relationships and joy. He emphasized to live now for your future and don't be wishing to be in the future yet; work on your relationships with family, friends and others and realize their importance and influence on you, and have joy in your life now. Be preparing for your future, but love who you are and what you are doing to get there.

After the Rally, the students enjoyed attending the Macon State Fair. For more information about FBLA, contact Mrs. Janet Dukes, Adviser at 706-359-2941.
