Annual Gold Rush Festival to be held in McCormick, SC
The 31st Gold Rush Festival kicks off September 19 with the McCormick Children's Home 10th anniversary barbecue cook-off 'Anything but' will be highlighted from 6 - 10 p.m. with a DJ at the mill park. The Red Rooster Art Gallery will be having an artist reception with Diana Joslin and offering dessert and beverages to top off your evening.
September 20th is the big day with a pancake breakfast at the United Methodist Church starting at 7 a.m. The parade will start at 10 a.m. Food, arts and crafts vendor, along with live music, all day children's rides, games and exhibitions will be the available. The Gold Mine, Dorn House and Mill will all be open.
The barbecue cook-off continues with the competition and live music by Brasstyme. There will be a cash giveaway.
The Gold Rush yard sale will be in the NAPA building across the street from the Mill.
Festival hours are from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Come join the fun!
